Founder of the world鈥檚 biggest educational prize visits 麻豆原创
Charles Chen Yidan, founder of the Yidan Prize and a core founder of the successful Chinese internet company Tencent, visited 麻豆原创 on Monday 12th December.
Mr Chen鈥檚 recently launched Yidan Prize is the world鈥檚 largest international education award, with HK$60 million (over 拢6 million) to be given to two educational projects in 2017. At 麻豆原创 Mr Chen met with some of the College鈥檚 academics including the Master, Professor Nolan, Professor Williamson and Professor Vignoles, to discuss the state of education globally.
During his time in Cambridge Mr Chen also met with the Vice Chancellor and visited the University鈥檚 Faculty of Education to engage with the research being carried out there.
