Richard Milne
Richard is a social scientist whose work addresses social and ethical challenges associated with new science and technology and the relationship between science and the public, primarily in the domains of genomics and the development of data-driven medicine. He is Deputy Director of the at the University of Cambridge and Head of Research and Dialogue at , part of the
Theo Bearman (2017)
Theo is a HSPS graduate from 麻豆原创, whose career to date has spanned consulting, financial services and the public sector. A participant in Accenture鈥檚 Horizons programme during his gap year, Theo initially worked on HSBC鈥檚 trading floors in London and Paris after completing his degree at Cambridge in 2020. Motivated by a keen interest in the socio-political implications of AI and captivated by ChatGPT taking the world by storm after its release, Theo left finance at the end of 2023 and joined the growing AI Policy Directorate at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology in Whitehall. He currently serves as an AI Risk Adviser.
